Joe and Venetia were BORED.

Their first child was on the way, and they were shopping for clothes, strollers, diaper bags and all the gear, necessary and otherwise, that comes with new parenthood. But the search was frustrating. Bland big-box store websites, utterly vanilla gear at the mall…blah, blah, boring! Shopping for baby gear was starting to feel like a painfully retro experience; like dropping the cell-phone and laptop and going back to that nasty department store in the secondary mall (y’know, the one that used to be the main mall before the mega-mall was built).

But, but…BUT! They were finding all kinds of cool stuff online! Joe is a talented web designer, so searching the Web is second nature to him. Those searches were turning up gold; incredibly cool stuff, like Burberry Strollers, Airplane Backpacks and Organic Crayons. No way you would find goods like that at a crap big-box store.
